2.1 | 3D Photoshop Tool

As I have not been confident in my ability to draw throughout this unit, I decided to edit the drawings I have produced using the 3D tool on Adobe Photoshop. This tool is excellent and can transform a photograph or drawing instantly. It has also allowed me to add a different dimension to my project and create unique shapes. These shapes are constantly inspiring me and sparking new ideas within my work. I plan to hopefully 3D print these shapes at some point within the project, to bring the virtually 3D into a physical 3D piece. This technique also adds a heightened sense of proportion to my work, an aspect that I plan to use within my trend resource. The exploration into 3D printing will further support my research into smart textiles and wearable technology, as 3D printing is still a fairly new technology and is advancing daily. This will also further cement the underlying 'future human' aspect of my trend.
