'Exploring the Positive Power of Pattern'
Upon learning via Patternity’s newsletter, that
they were seeking anyone from the public to send in photography to be published
in their first ever book, I began to look through my own imagery. The idea was
‘from the mundane to the magnificent’. As I had carried out a project previously,
named ‘Urban Influences’ I thought it was appropriate to choose imagery from
this specific project. I chose photographs that I felt leant them selves well
to Patternity’s aesthetic. I felt that this project specifically catered to my
own practice as I thrive from creating inspiration from my own photography.
Patternity has also been a constant inspiration throughout my higher education
and it would be amazing to see my work published next to theirs.
