When exploring the 3D feature on Adobe Photoshop,
the software began to glitch. This was uncontrollable and unexpected. However I
feel that this has been a great turning point for my project. The vibrant
colours brought through from the glitching have inspired a number of possible
ideas for the unit. I specifically prefer the uncontrollability aspect of the
glitch and the technology mimicry aspect of it. I plan to explore virtual
distortion further by developing these glitches into prints. Upon reflection of
this happening, I feel it was for the best and will push my practice further;
this process has already pushed my abilities within Adobe Photoshop further and
allowed me to be confident when complications arise. I have also enjoyed
learning a new technique, especially something that I have not seen many people
use.
